  • 8. Committing illegal acts to finance gambling.
  • 9. Losing or jeopardizing a significant relationship, or educational or career opportunity because of gambling.
  • 10. Relying on others to get him or her out of financial problems caused by the gambling.

In order to reduce the risk of developing a gambling problem, we would like you to remember the following:

- The decision to gamble is a personal choice.
- Only gamble what you can afford to lose.
- Times when people should not gamble:
  • When under the legal gambling age.
  • When the gambling interferes with other responsibilities.
  • When in the early stages of recovery from alcoholism or chemical dependency.
